The Charles Shestack Agency was founded in 1969 by Charles Shestack and the late Al Lever as Independent Manufacturers’ Sales Representatives. The team specialized in calling on Retailers who sold Photographic, Optical, and Electronic Equipment.  Both partners had many years experience in sales and management in the retail photographic and electronic industries.

The business philosophy of The Charles Shestack Agency is simple. We become a part of your buying team. Our clients consider us to be the buyer and represent them in helping make proper purchase decisions among the factories that we have chosen to represent. Our many years of experience allow us to guide you towards profitable decisions. We have dealer relationships that are now into the fourth generation.

The suppliers we represent are chosen carefully, with great emphasis on consumer dollar value and retailer profitability. Many of our factory partners have been with us more than a decade, with at least one going back more than twenty five years.

Charles Shestack Agency added the division CSA Distributors with emphasis on sales to Photo Mini Labs. After a number of years and the Minilab Business diminishing the company went back to the core  business  of being a Manufacturer’s Rep Agency in the Photo Channel. With the advent of the Scrapbooking Hobby, crafts stores were added to the company’s outlets.
